I have made a series of vector field plots. Each piece represents a different mathematical function; a vector field plot allows one to visualize the mathematical inputs and outputs of a function. The purpose of this composition is to show the beauty and chaos that is calculus. 

This series was made using oil paint and each piece is 20" x 20".

 The vector field should be relatively accurate for the given functions (with specific set boundaries). Warm colors represent shorter vectors, cool colors represent longer vectors, and lighter hues represent mid-sized vectors.
